As part of efforts for a renewed Anambra Civil Service system, an unscheduled inspection of some government health facilities was jointly carried on by the Head of Service, Ngozi Anuli Iwouno Esq., mni and some Permanent Secretaries.

Recall, that at the inception of her office, the new Anambra Head of Service had promised to restore vitality, professionalism and decorum to every aspect of the Anambra State Civil Service aligning herself with the dream and expectations of the Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Consequently, she visited the General Hospital, Enugwu-Ukwu, where she expressed satisfaction with staff attendance, and the neatness of the hospital environment.

At the antenatal section of the hospital, some women who have benefitted from the free delivery and post natal care initiative of Mr. Governor, thanking him for delivering on his promises to Ndi Anambra.

The Head of Service then, reminded the health workers of the importance of their jobs and advised them to eschew any form of laxity in the discharge of their duty.

At the General Hospital, Nri the Head of Service and her team at first glance noticed the uncleanliness around the hospital environment.

She bemoaned the unprofessional outlook the environment wore, saying it fell short of the standards expected of a government hospital and called for immediate reorientation of staff and correction of standards.

She, then, urged the heads of the hospital to wake up and join the wave of change in Anambra State.

The Civil service boss visited the Anambra Small Business Agency, Awka where she tasked workers on efficiency and effective service delivery.

In her company were the Permanent Secretary, State Ministry of Health, Dr. Obiageli Uchebo; the Director of Medical Services, Dr. Ugo Chukwulobelu; the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Engr. Martin Agbili; and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Power and Water Resources, Sir Victor Ezekwo, who in no small way lent their advice and wise counsel to workers to join the wake up call in taking Anambra state to greater heights.
