The member representing Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency in the Federal House Of Representatives, Lady Maureen Chinwe Gwacham says the Omabala Forum is united for Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
Lady Gwacham, a committed and celebrated federal lawmaker gave the indication during the maiden Omabala 2025 cultural festival at the Otuocha township stadium.
According to the quintessential legislator and an award winner during the festival, the governor has displayed an uncommon flair for good governance which qualifies him for a second term in office.
She expressed delight in the strong unity existing in the Omabala Forum which has remained a binding force behind their success stories.
The legislator welcomed the cultural festival as a trend in the right direction, which she expects should be an annual event, and with a further expectation that parents should encourage their children to be part of the promotion of the Igbo cultural heritage.
In a message to the occasion, a former President General of Nteje Town Union, Chief Chidiebere Obika, welcomed the cultural festival as ideal and advocated its annual celebration for the promotion of the Igbo cultural heritage and a stronger unity of the Omabala Forum.
In another message, the President General of Enugu Aguleri (Idu Eri) Chief Victor Emeka, also pressed for the annual celebration of the Omabala cultural festival for the promotion of the Igbo culture.
Chief Emeka used the forum to appreciate Governor Soludo’s sound development strategy and endorsed him for a second term in office.
Others who appreciated the Omabala cultural festival include Comrade Donatus Nkebuisi and the Traditional Prime Minister of Nando community, Chief Amobi Anwuobi.
Present during the occasion include the representative of Governor Soludo and the Commissioner for Culture,Tourism and Entertainment Comrade Don Onyenji among others.
Highlights on the occasion were cultural displays by communities in the Omabala Forum.
