Final year students of the Department of Educational Psychology/Guidance and Counselling, Nwafor Orizu College of Education (NOCEN), Nsugbe, have defended their research projects before a departmental panel.
The exercise, held on Sept. 21, was led by the Head of Department, Dr. Adaobi Iloakasia, and chaired by the Departmental Project Coordinator, Dr. Chinyere A. Muokwue, alongside other lecturers.
Iloakasia said the students presented their research works and responded to questions from the panel on their respective topics.
She said the exercise enabled lecturers to provide corrections, guidance and professional advice to help the students improve their projects before final submission.
According to her, the students also sought clarification on areas where they encountered challenges during the research process.
The head of department said the exercise provided an opportunity for the students to demonstrate their understanding of their research topics while receiving feedback from the lecturers.
Iloakasia commended the students for their participation and appreciated the lecturers for their guidance and contributions to the students’ academic development.
The exercise featured interactions between the students and lecturers on various aspects of the research projects.
