The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has called on Ndi Anambra to actively develop their community schools, emphasising that the community’s future depends on the education of children from villages, as he commissioned a smart classroom building at Ngo Primary School in Igboukwu, constructed by the Nze Basil Osuokwu (O’Bassey) Foundation, located in Aguata Local Government Area.

He expressed gratitude to Nze Osuokwu for initiating this project and encouraged every concerned individual in the state to contribute to their community. “No one is too poor to do something. Even if you cannot build a classroom, you can buy a pencil or notebook for a child today who is not your own. If we all contribute, this world will be a better place,” he said.

Nze Osuokwu thanked the Governor for attending the commissioning. He explained that the classroom was built under the Public-Private Community Partnership initiative and was dedicated to the memory of his late mother.
“Our goal is to make it possible for children to study up to secondary and university levels. The classroom is equipped with a solar power system installed by Engr Dom Okafor, offices for the headmistress and reception with electricity and will soon have Internet access,” he added.
