A new political chapter may be unfolding in Idemili North and South Federal Constituency as an aspirant for the House of Representatives has formally declared intention to contest, pledging a people-focused and inclusive style of representation.
In a statement marking the declaration, the aspirant described the move as a “rebirth of a shared vision,” aimed at consolidating past achievements while opening up governance to broader participation and fresh ideas.
The aspirant expressed gratitude to the Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, for the opportunity to serve as Chairman of the Soludo/Ibezim re-election campaign in Idemili South, noting that the experience has strengthened capacity for effective leadership and service.
Appreciation was also extended to elders and political stakeholders
across Idemili North and South Federal Constituency for their continued guidance and support.
Highlighting key priorities, the aspirant emphasized the need for representation that is accessible, responsive, and closely connected to the people. According to the statement, the envisioned leadership will be anchored on unity, sustained engagement, and an open-door policy that encourages contributions from all segments of the constituency.
“The journey is not about one individual, but about a people determined to shape their future with clarity and courage,” the aspirant stated, while assuring constituents that their voices would be consistently represented at the national level.
The declaration comes ahead of the party’s anticipated primary elections scheduled for May 23, setting the stage for what observers expect to be a keenly contested race.
