‎The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) aspirant for the Ogbaru I State House of Assembly seat, Hon. Kenneth Akwuobi, has outlined his record of achievements as Mayor of Ogbaru Local Government as the foundation for his 2027 legislative ambition.
‎
‎Speaking during his official declaration held at Okpoko Community Primary School 3, Akwuobi stated that his performance in local government administration underscores his preparedness to deliver greater developmental strides at the Anambra State House of Assembly.

‎He emphasized that legislative representation should transcend mere occupancy of office, describing the State House of Assembly as a platform that demands purposeful leadership, intellectual capacity, and effective advocacy for constituents.
‎
‎In highlighting his record of service, Hon. Akwuobi enumerated several projects executed during his administration. These include the construction of a legislative complex, the reconstruction of the traditional rulers’ complex, the development of a modern administrative building, and the comprehensive renovation of office facilities. He further cited the installation of a solar-powered borehole and the implementation of the N20 million Community Projects Initiative across the 16 wards of Ogbaru Local Government Area.
‎
‎According to him, these initiatives reflect a strong commitment to practical governance, infrastructural development, and grassroots advancement.
‎Akwuobi assured supporters that, if elected, he would replicate the same level of dedication, vision, and strategic development that characterized his tenure as Mayor to drive rapid transformation in Okpoko and the wider Ogbaru I Constituency.
‎
‎The declaration event drew endorsements from prominent community leaders and stakeholders, including Mr. John Ezeoli, Chief Emma Onuikpe, Chief Emeka Asonya, Dan Obi, Chief Alex Ikeokolo, Hon. Zeribe Ezeanuna, and Councillor Chidiebere Umechukwu. They described Akwuobi as a proven and reliable leader with the capacity to provide effective and quality representation.
