Anambra West House of Assembly hopeful Hon. Felix Ikechi has formally declared his intention to contest for the Anambra West State House of Assembly seat after purchasing the Expression of Interest Form of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
This move marks his formal entry into the race and signals the beginning of his campaign to represent the constituency in the state legislature.
Speaking after obtaining the form, Ikechi described his decision as a commitment to higher service and a response to the needs of the people of Anambra West.
He emphasized the importance of purposeful and people-oriented representation, noting that effective leadership must be anchored on measurable impact, accountability, and community-focused development.
“With the purchase of this form, I am taking a bold step toward deepening quality representation for our people.
“Anambra West deserves a strong voice, responsive leadership, and practical solutions to our challenges,” he said.
Former Anambra West Boss, known for his grassroots involvement, outlined key priorities of his proposed representation to include youth empowerment, infrastructural development, inclusive growth, and transparent governance.
He also urged party members, stakeholders, and residents within the constituency to support his ambition, stressing that collective effort is vital for achieving sustainable development in the area.
“This is not just about me; it is about us, our future, our development, and our collective prosperity. Together, we can build a stronger and more vibrant Anambra West,” Ikechi added.
Political observers say his declaration introduces a new dynamic into the Anambra West Assembly race, with supporters describing his candidacy as a push for effective representation and impactful leadership in the constituency.
