The Anambra State Fire Service has confirmed a fire incident at Climax Industry Limited, located on Nanka Street, Oduma Layout, Obosi.
The distress call was received at approximately 1:00 a.m., prompting an immediate response from personnel of the Ogidi and Okpoko Fire Stations.
Firefighters were swiftly mobilized to the scene to contain the blaze.
The affected property included both company and residential structures.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts and professionalism of the fire service personnel who contained the fire successfully, preventing its spread to neighboring buildings.
Firefighters remained on-site until 5:30 a.m. to ensure complete extinguishment and to eliminate any risk of re-ignition.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
