The State Chairman Local Government Service Commission Chief Vin Ezeaka (Esq) has encouraged staff in the local government system to remain focused in discharging their statutory responsibilities.

In a public press statement in Awka, Chief Ezeaka commended their resilience and cooperation in the outgoing year and promised them more incentives in the coming year.

According to him, 2026 will witness more in- house training exercises for workers in the local government system to enhance their productivity.

He further announced that in the coming year, vacancies created by retired staff are most likely to be filled in a lean recruitment exercise he called technical which will lay more emphasis on the technical proficiency of eligible applicants.

The Local Government Service Commission boss commended them for their outstanding support to the government of the day during the recently concluded November 8 governorship election in the state and promised that their welfare will not be taken for granted.

He re affirmed the commitment of the present administration toward ensuring that their entitlements are given to them.

On his part, the Managing Director, Anambra Civic And Social Reformation Office, Sir Chuka Nnabuife, thanked the staff under the agency for being part of the re orientation of the youth across the state,the election successes, and other social reformation activities.

Sir Nnabuife promised sustained impact toward impacting positive values among youths, synergy with traditional rulers and grassroot mobilizers to build a better society.
He looked forward to a more resourceful 2026 with better prospects.
