The Chairman, Local Government Service Commission Vin Ezeaka Esq, has expressed satisfaction that at 34 years Anambra State is on a steady march towards achieving its goal of reaching the promised land.
In a press statement in Awka on the 34th anniversary of the state, Barr. Ezeaka affirmed that the most conspicuous development is apparent in Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration who has touched all sectors of the economy and recorded appreciable development impact in the three Senatorial Zones of the state.
His expectation is that the landmark achievements of the governor will be reciprocated in the November 8 Governorship election in the state during which the electorate are being urged to vote massively for his re-election.
The Local Government Service Commission Boss used the forum to appreciate the Orumba North LGA for giving him an award of excellence for his exemplary leadership during the Council’s celebration of its 34 years of existence.
He promised to reciprocate the gesture by giving his best towards developing the local government administration in the state.
Barr. Ezeaka further conveyed his appreciation to the Ihiala LGA Council Authority for inaugurating the Ihiala Unit of the “Agunaechemba’ security outfit which has since swung into action.
He expects all residents in the Ihiala community to give their tacit support to the group by giving them useful information that will aid their operations.
On the fourth coming new yam festival of the Traditional Ruler of the town, Igwe Thomas Obidiegwu slated for September 13, the Commission’s boss felicitated with the royal father as he prepares to perform the annual ritual.
