The Enugwu Agidi Brotherly Union (EBU Nigeria) has commended renowned philanthropist and community leader, High Chief Nnamdi Okam (Nwachinagbaluogu), for donating two motorcycles to the Enugwu Agidi Community Vigilante Group, Agunaechemba, to strengthen security operations in the community.
The commendation was contained in a statement issued by the Publicity Secretary of EBU Nigeria, Comrade Egbuonu Echezona Daniel (Agudile), on behalf of the President-General, the Executive Committee and the people of Enugwu Agidi.
According to the statement, the motorcycles will enhance the mobility and operational efficiency of the vigilante group, enabling its members to respond more promptly to security incidents and improve the protection of lives and property across the community.
The union described the donation as timely and impactful, noting that it reflects High Chief Okam’s enduring commitment to the peace, security and development of Enugwu Agidi.
It added that the donation is one of several interventions by the community leader over the years, noting that his consistent support for community development and humanitarian causes has earned him the admiration and appreciation of the people.

The union prayed for God’s continued protection, wisdom, good health and greater prosperity for the donor, expressing confidence that his contributions would leave a lasting legacy in the history of Enugwu Agidi.
EBU Nigeria also urged sons and daughters of the community, both at home and in the diaspora, to emulate High Chief Okam’s spirit of service by supporting initiatives that promote the development of Enugwu Agidi.
The union observed that although significant progress has been made, more support is still needed across critical sectors to achieve sustainable development, stressing that collective effort remains essential to building a safer, more peaceful and prosperous community.
The statement concluded by expressing profound appreciation to High Chief Nnamdi Okam for his generosity and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people, describing him as a shining example of selfless leadership and community service.
