St. Charles College, Onitsha, has celebrated the recognition of its Principal, Rev. Fr. Dr. Gabriel Anochilionye, who received the School Administrator of the Year Award at the 2026 Anambra Man of the Year (AMTY) Awards.
The award honours Rev. Fr. Anochilionye’s visionary leadership, commitment to academic excellence and outstanding contributions to educational development. It recognises his dedication to the holistic formation of students through quality education, moral instruction, discipline and leadership development.
The recognition was greeted with excitement across the college community, as management, staff, students, parents and alumni described it as a well deserved honour and a testament to his exemplary service and impactful leadership.
Receiving the award, Rev. Fr. Anochilionye expressed gratitude to the organisers of the AMTY Awards and the management of St. Charles College for the support that has contributed to the school’s achievements, pledging to remain committed to the spiritual, moral and academic development of the students while sustaining the culture of excellence in the institution.
The school management noted that the award reflects the values of excellence, innovation and character formation that have continued to define St. Charles College under his leadership.
They prayed for God to grant the principal greater wisdom, strength, good health and abundant grace as he continues to lead the institution to greater heights.
The management congratulated Rev. Fr. Anochilionye on the prestigious recognition, describing the award as a source of pride for the entire St. Charles College community and an inspiration to educators and students alike.
