The Anambra Commissioner for Commerce, Mr Nonso Chukwuma Ebonwu, has visited Ochanja, Oduigbo and Coca-Cola markets to engage traders on measures to improve sanitation, safety and orderliness.
Ebonwu made the visits on Oct. 28 during an unscheduled working tour of the markets.
During the visits, the commissioner interacted with traders, listened to their concerns and offered guidance on maintaining a clean, safe and orderly trading environment.
The engagement provided an opportunity for traders to communicate their challenges directly to the Ministry and discuss possible solutions to issues affecting market activities.

The visits were also aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Ministry and market stakeholders to improve trading conditions and promote a conducive environment for businesses.
The Ministry of Commerce reiterated its commitment to sustained engagement with traders and other market stakeholders to address challenges and support market development across the state.
