The Principal Kenneth Dike Memorial Secondary School Awka, Dr. Christiana Nnalue says her administration will promote discipline and academic excellence in line with the vision of the late professor Kenneth Dike.
Dr. Nnalue made the pledge while playing host to the press on a monitoring visit to the institution in Awka.
The principal newly posted to the college, promised to take the school to greater heights with vision and mission statements to boost the morale of teachers and students towards enhanced productivity and academic proficiency.
According to her, the college resumed the 3rd term 2025/2026 academic session with renewed vigour, having been conducted round the school complex, and promised to build on the legacies of her predecessor in office Dr. Uju Obigwe.
The academic used the forum to eulogize Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his free education policy which has occasioned an appreciable upsurge in students enrolments in public schools across the state.
Dr. Nnalue the immediate past Principal, Community Boys Secondary School Okpoko, reported with pride that the population of the school which was recorded as 390 at the point of her entrance stands at over one thousand at the point of her exit.
The School recorded teachers attendance to classes and the school’s resumption tests which were ongoing as at the time of the visitation of the press.
