Dr. (Mrs.) Flora Ilonzo, Anyafụlugo of Enugwu-Ukwu na Umunri, is set to celebrate her 80th birthday with a thanksgiving ceremony and the launch of her new book, The Healing Power of Plants.
This was contained in an invitation card addressed to the Ikporo Onitsha Awka Branch on Sept. 14, stating that the celebration is scheduled to hold on Sept. 26, at the Centre for Psychic and Healing Administration (CPHA) Complex, CPHA Avenue, Think Home Private Estate, Awka, Anambra State.
The event is expected to bring together family members, friends, associates, well-wishers and other guests to celebrate Dr. Nonzo’s eight decades of life, service and dedication to humanity.
According to the invitation, the occasion is conceived as an opportunity to give thanks to God for His goodness and grace throughout her years of service, compassion and commitment to the wellbeing of others.
A major highlight of the celebration will be the unveiling of her book, The Healing Power of Plants, which reflects her longstanding interest and commitment to wellness and phytomedicine.
Dr. Nonzo, who is associated with the Centre for Psychic and Healing Administration, said the milestone represents a period of grace, purpose and service to humanity.
She expressed her desire to share the memorable occasion with those who have been part of her journey, describing their presence and goodwill as meaningful to the celebration.
The 80th birthday and book launch will therefore combine thanksgiving, celebration and the presentation of a work centred on the potential role of plants in health and wellness.
