The Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA), Dr. Ezeka Augustine Uwaeme, has convened a tactical meeting with all ASHIA enrollment officers across various registration centers in the state. The meeting was held at the ASHIA office in Awka as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen service delivery and expand enrollment coverage.
Addressing the officers, Dr. Ezeka expressed deep appreciation for their dedication, resilience, and consistent efforts in registering beneficiaries into the health insurance scheme. He noted that their role remains critical to the Agency’s mission of ensuring that Ndi Anambra have access to affordable and quality healthcare services.
He charged the enrollment officers to remain steadfast, disciplined, and fully committed to their duties, emphasizing the importance of professionalism, patience, and a client-centered approach in all interactions with enrollees. According to him, every registration point must reflect the Agency’s core values of efficiency, transparency, and compassion.
Dr. Ezeka further disclosed that ASHIA is developing strategic plans to establish additional registration points in major markets across the state. He explained that the initiative is designed to bring the Agency’s services closer to the grassroots, particularly traders and informal sector workers, thereby improving accessibility and increasing enrollment.
The Executive Secretary also assured the officers that outstanding performance will be duly recognized. He announced that the highest enrolling staff each month will receive personal rewards, as part of efforts to motivate staff and encourage healthy competition.
Dr. Ezeka reaffirmed his commitment to supporting staff, enhancing operational efficiency, and positioning ASHIA as a leading model for health insurance delivery in Nigeria.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with enrollment officers expressing renewed enthusiasm and commitment to advancing the Agency’s objectives.
