As Anambra State indigenes still reflect on the 35 years anniversary of the state, a former Senior Special Assistant to former Governor Willie Obiano on Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), Hon. Chief Lawrence Anikpe is still in high spirits that the state has massively progressed.

In a congratulatory press statement in Awka on Sept.3, Chief Anikpe noted with joy the verifiable road network which traverses the 21 local government areas of the state.

He made special reference to the Igbariam-Adani road which takes him less than ten minutes to complete.

The Fun City project in Awka which he eye marked, according to him, is a legacy achievement by the Soludo administration which is rapidly turning the state to the Dubai/Taiwan status.

On security, Chief Anikpe expressed joy that under Governor Soludo’s watch, the incidence of crimes and criminalities have been reduced.

He expects the citizens of the state to hold their heads high as the geographical entity that has produced the likes of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Prof.Chinua Achebe, among others, should contribute their quota toward the development of the state.

In a related development, an Nnewi born industrialist and a future governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Comrade Peter Nwosu congratulated the state on its 35th anniversary which is worth celebrating.

According to Comrade Nwosu, the state has made appreciable progress particularly in Governor Soludo facilitating the movement of the government house and governor’s lodge to its permanent site in Awka.
