Entrepreneurs and business owners have been encouraged to take advantage of digital platforms to expand their reach, increase visibility and drive business growth.
The advice was given by the Chief Executive Officer of Kiddies Republic, Sis. Uche Omenwa, during a Business Summit organised by the Bread of Life Prayer Group (BLCCRN) at St. Joseph’s Parish, UNIZIK Tempsite, Awka, on June 20.
Speaking on the theme, “Leveraging Digital Platforms for Business Growth, with a Core Focus on WhatsApp,” Sis. Omenwa described digital marketing as an essential tool for attracting customers, building credibility and boosting sales in today’s highly competitive business environment.
She explained that business success is not solely dependent on the quality of products or services offered but also on the ability to create awareness and reach potential customers effectively.
According to her, platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, Google Business Profile and websites enable businesses to connect with wider audiences beyond their immediate locations and strengthen their market presence.
Highlighting the benefits of WhatsApp Business, she encouraged entrepreneurs to maximize features such as business profiles, product catalogues, status updates, automated greetings, quick replies, customer follow-ups and broadcast lists to improve customer engagement.
Sis. Omenwa emphasized that consistency, valuable content creation and strong customer relationships are key ingredients for achieving success in the digital marketplace.
She further advised participants to enhance their online presence through regular content updates, quality product photographs and videos, customer testimonials, referrals and the strategic use of WhatsApp Status.
The Kiddies Republic CEO urged business owners to fully embrace digital tools, stressing that relying solely on physical visibility is no longer sufficient for sustainable business growth and long-term success.
