Presidents General of the 52 communities in Anambra North Senatorial Zone have unanimously endorsed former Senator and ex-Minister of Aviation, Senator Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah, for the Anambra North seat in the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was announced on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at a meeting held at True C Hotel, Nteje, in Oyi Local Government Area. ASTUC Zonal Leader and President General of Amiyi Community, Comrade Chike Ugboma, praised Oduah’s past developmental contributions and urged community leaders to rally behind her return to the National Assembly.
Representatives from Oyi, Anambra East, Anambra West, and Onitsha North and South echoed the call, citing her consistent commitment to community welfare and progress in the zone. The motion, moved by Chief Fred Okafor of Omasi Town Union and seconded by Mr. Hillary Adimali of Obeagwa Development Union, highlighted Oduah’s achievements as Aviation Minister, including the upgrade of Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
Responding, Oduah, who is seeking the seat under APGA, thanked the leaders for their support and pledged to advance the development of Anambra North if re-elected.
