‎The Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ASPHCDA) has on Sept 28 hosted representatives of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) following the Ward Development Committee (WDC) Quarterly Review Meeting held for five Local Government Areas in Anambra State, with support from the Global Fund.
‎
‎The engagement provided an opportunity to assess progress, share field experiences, identify challenges and strengthen strategies for effective community participation and improved delivery of primary healthcare services across the state.
‎

‎Following the review meeting, the NPHCDA team held a debriefing session with the leadership and relevant officers of ASPHCDA to strengthen coordination, accountability and community-level health systems.
‎
‎The Executive Secretary of ASPHCDA, Dr. Chizoba Prisca Ezeasor, appreciated the NPHCDA team and the Global Fund for their continued technical and programme support.
‎
‎She reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to productive partnerships aimed at strengthening the primary healthcare system and ensuring access to quality healthcare services, particularly at the grassroots.
‎
‎Dr. Ezeasor said ASPHCDA would continue to work with relevant stakeholders to improve community engagement and strengthen primary healthcare delivery across Anambra State. “Together, we are strengthening Primary Healthcare in Anambra State, one community at a time,” she added.
