The Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA), on July 6, visited Odera Building Materials Market, Awka, for an awareness and sensitization campaign aimed at expanding health insurance enrolment among traders and to promote access to affordable healthcare services.

He reaffirmed ASHIA’s commitment to making quality healthcare accessible to every resident in the state.
“ASHIA plans to establish an ASHIA office with a dedicated desk officer within the market. The initiative will bring enrolment, complaints resolution, and other support services closer to traders”, he said.
The traders expressed appreciation to ASHIA for bringing the sensitization to their market. Existing enrollees shared testimonies of the quality healthcare they had received, while many others indicated their readiness to enroll in the scheme.
