The Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA) has announced that its call centre is fully operational, providing round the clock support for enrollees seeking assistance with complaints, denied services and other challenges encountered while accessing healthcare.
In a public notice issued on Oct. 28, the agency reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that all enrollees receive the healthcare services and benefits covered under the state health insurance scheme.
ASHIA urged enrollees to speak up whenever a healthcare provider refuses to provide services covered by their insurance plan or treats them unfairly, stressing that complaints should be reported promptly for appropriate intervention.
To facilitate access to assistance, the agency provided the following contact numbers:
Toll-free call centre: 09039817221

Alternative numbers: 08144445376, 08059304487 and 09133269281.
The agency noted that the 24-hour service was intended to make it easier for enrollees across Anambra State to seek help whenever they encounter difficulties accessing their entitled healthcare benefits.
Enrollees requiring further assistance or making additional inquiries may also visit the ASHIA head office, located opposite the Old Government House, Awka, Anambra State.
The agency encouraged beneficiaries to familiarise themselves with their healthcare entitlements and promptly report any challenges, noting that feedback and complaints are important to improving service delivery and accountability within the health insurance scheme.
