APGA Ward 1 leaders and stakeholders gathered at the local secretariat to chart a decisive path towards Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s re‑election on November 8, 2025. The strategic meeting held at the party’s secretary in Onitsha North LGA, set a tone of unity and purpose.
Sir John Abadom, Ward 1 Chairman, welcomed members and urged unwavering dedication while former state constituency aspirant, Sir Ikenna Unachukwu highlighted Soludo’s 90 percent approval rating, reminding attendees to amplify the governor’s record of transforming roads, healthcare, and education. “APGA is the platform for good governance in Anambra, and every supporter must come out to vote,” he declared.
Ogemdi Nwadialor, ex‑ward chairman, and Hon. Anthony Nwabunne, former deputy LGA chairman, applauded Soludo’s infrastructural feats—from five new general hospitals in the North Senatorial Zone to the upgraded Akpaka Road in Onitsha. Councillor Hon. Francis Chukwuebuka Oguno pointed to 24/7 solar‑powered electricity at the American Quarters PHC as evidence of the administration’s community‑first approach.

Special Adviser, Sir Chike Nwanolue and New Media aide, Mr. Uchechukwu Aniebue urged all over‑18 yrars to secure their PVCs through the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration, warning that no vote should be left uncast. They also celebrated the “1 Youth, 2 Skills” programme, which has equipped 5,000 young Anambra residents with vocational training and seed funding.
Closing the session, Secretary Ethos Onwuaghalu invited new members to join APGA’s growing ranks. With broad consensus and a clear roadmap, Ward 1 is poised to deliver a landslide block vote for Soludo’s second term.
