A social media influencer and party advocate, Chidimma Tonia, has called on leaders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to prioritize loyalty in selecting candidates for the 2027 general elections.

Speaking in a statement, Tonia emphasized the need for the party to recognise and reward long-standing members who have remained committed to its growth and success over the years.

She highlighted the contributions of Anambra North senatorial aspirant, Alex Obiogbolu, and Idemili North/South House of Representatives aspirant, Ikenna Iyiegbu, describing them as loyal party faithful who have consistently supported APGA.

According to her, both aspirants are driven by a genuine desire to serve the people and contribute to national development through effective legislative policies.

“They have remained committed to the ideals of the party and have contributed meaningfully to its progress,” she said, adding that their political ambitions are rooted in service to humanity and improving the welfare of citizens.

Tonia further noted that the two aspirants have continued to impact lives positively, especially among women and youths, stressing that their focus remains on the development of both the party and the people.

She urged party stakeholders to consider dedication, consistency, and service as key factors in determining candidates, noting that rewarding loyalty would strengthen the party ahead of future elections.
