The Honourable Member representing Ogbaru I Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Noble Chinonso Igwe, has formally declared his intention to seek re-election to the House under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), with a pledge to provide enhanced representation, ensure continuity of service, and deepen engagement with constituents at the grassroots level.
The declaration was made yesterday at the Okpoko Secretariat, Ogbaru I Constituency, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of All Progressives Grand Alliance members, stakeholders, and community leaders.
In his address, Hon. Igwe appealed for sustained support for the party, asserting that his legislative experience has endowed him with enhanced competence to render more effective service. He identified partnership and unity as the cardinal tenets of his agenda.
He reaffirmed his commitment to APGA’s “Be Your Brother’s Keeper” philosophy, with emphasis on unity, peace, and collective progress. He pledged to support any candidate who emerges victorious at the party primaries, underscoring the primacy of the party’s overall success.
In his remarks, the APGA Chairman in Ogbaru Local Government Area, Pastor Onochie Felix Obiora, described him as a “tested and trusted leader.” While the LGA Secretary, Hon. Osigwe Chimezie, commended his extensive legislative experience, deep grassroots connection, and notable political acumen.
The APGA Women Leader of the area, Lolo Vera Ohika, commended his inclusive approach to matters concerning women and youth, while the Youth Leader, Comrade Amaobi Emegini, described him as “a leader who listens and delivers.”
Community stakeholder Chief Emeka Nwafor observed that the re-election of Rt. Hon. Igwe would consolidate ongoing developmental initiatives within the constituency.
