Commissioner Ministry of Women and Social Welfare, Mrs Esther Chinyere Onyekesi, has resumed duties with a resounding welcome by the staff of the ministry led by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Chinwe Achugbu.
She was shown round the offices and introduced to the team she would be working with by the Permanent Secretary and her team.
Onyekesi expressed gratitude to the workers for the warm reception and urged them to give her the maximum support to make a difference for the children and women of Anambra State.
She went on to appreciate the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo for giving her the opportunity to serve her state.
She further assured ahe would do her best in that ministry for Anambra women and children.
Her words later in an interview: “I promise to do my best. I promise to make a difference. I promise to carry Anambra women along. I promise to bring change to the ministry. I know that with the workers I met today and good people around me, I know we shall make a difference in the service of Anambra State and humanity”.
