The Anambra State Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Edward Obiefuna Ibuzo, has urged residents to embrace hope, safety, and unity as they begin the month of August.
In a goodwill message issued on August 1, the commissioner wished Ndi Anambra, motorists, commuters, and visitors a peaceful, productive, and fulfilling month filled with renewed opportunities, divine protection, and progress.
Hon. Ibuzo reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to developing a safer, smarter, and more efficient transportation system that promotes economic growth, enhances mobility, and delivers quality services to residents across the state.
He described transportation as a critical driver of development, assuring that the ministry would continue to implement policies and initiatives aimed at improving transport infrastructure and making movement more convenient for the public.
The commissioner also appealed to transport operators, motorists, pedestrians, and commuters to obey traffic regulations, prioritize safety, and support government efforts to maintain an orderly and efficient transport system.
According to him, unity, discipline, and collective responsibility remain essential to achieving the vision of a Greater Anambra, where peace, sustainable development, and shared prosperity thrive.
Hon. Ibuzo further expressed confidence that sustained public support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s transformative agenda would accelerate development, strengthen infrastructure, and enhance the overall transportation experience across the state.
