The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, has said that the Anambra State Government under the leadership of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has recorded remarkable achievements across critical sectors in its first term, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to building a livable and prosperous homeland for Ndi Anambra.
Mrs. Nnake said this during her appearance on the ABS TV “Good Morning Anambra” programme, where she spoke extensively on strengthening governance in Anambra State, the administration’s priorities, progress, and the importance of partnership in driving sustainable development.
Speaking during the programme, the SSG noted that the Solution Government has remained focused and intentional in delivering on its campaign promises through the five pillars of the administration, aimed at transforming Anambra into a modern and prosperous mega city where people can comfortably live, work, invest, and relax.
According to her, the Governor Soludo led administration has performed overwhelmingly well in its first term, with visible improvements recorded in education, healthcare delivery, human capital development, security, and infrastructural development across the state.
Mrs. Nnake highlighted the massive investments made in the education sector, including rehabilitating existing schools and constructing smart schools across the state, improving learning environments, and establishing policies geared towards repositioning education at all levels as a strong foundation for the future of the state.
On healthcare, she emphasized that the government has continued to strengthen the health sector through the upgrade of health facilities, improved access to quality healthcare services, and strategic interventions aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of Ndi Anambra.
The SSG further stated that the administration has also made significant strides in human capital development through empowerment programmes, skills acquisition initiatives, youth development schemes, and policies designed to create opportunities for economic growth and self reliance among citizens, especially the youths.
Speaking on security, she reiterated the government’s efforts and determination towards sustainable peace and security across Anambra State, stressing that security remains critical to development and investment.
Mrs. Nnake also pointed to ongoing infrastructural projects across different parts of the state, including road construction and urban renewal initiatives, noting that the administration is laying a solid foundation for long term growth and economic transformation.
Looking ahead, the SSG disclosed that the Solution Government has ambitious plans for the next four years, particularly in the areas of educational advancement, healthcare improvement, human capital development, and infrastructure expansion, all aimed at consolidating on the gains already achieved.
She emphasized that governance thrives best with partnership and collective responsibility, calling on Ndi Anambra, community leaders, private sector stakeholders, and development partners to continue supporting the administration’s vision for a greater Anambra.
Mrs. Nnake reaffirmed the commitment of the Solution Government to transparent, people oriented, and result driven governance, assuring citizens that the administration remains dedicated to improving lives and delivering sustainable development across the state.
