The Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Nkem Udeze, has been commended for prioritizing persons living with disabilities during his recent empowerment programme for over 300 constituents in Ogbaru II.
Some of the beneficiaries received sewing machines, grinding machines, farm inputs, and cash grants. Among them were Mr. Chukwudi Okeke, Atani; Mrs. Ngozi Ezenwa, Ossomala; and Miss Chinelo Madu, Okpoko. They expressed their gratitude, describing the intervention as life-changing and inclusive.
The inclusion of persons with disabilities was widely regarded as a highlight of the programme, underscoring Hon. Udeze’s stance that governance must serve all constituents, regardless of physical condition. He continues to be lauded as a servant-leader focused on real human impact.
