The Anambra State Police Command has condemned the murder of the President General of Ogidi community and another person, which occurred on February 6, 2026, at the School Field, Ogidi.
According to Anambra Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the incident is linked to the killing of a cultist in the area.
SP Ikenga narrated that police operatives swiftly secured the scene and launched investigations, using eyewitness accounts and intelligence to track down the perpetrators.
The Command used the opportunity to assure the public of intensified efforts to bring those responsible to justice urging
residents to be calm and cooperate with the police.
The Command also promised to provide further updates as investigations continue.
