The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, has commended officers and men of the command as well as personnel of sister security agencies for their professionalism and effective coordination during the visit of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, to Anambra State on Sept. 10.
The commissioner said the peaceful and successful outcome of the visit was largely due to the coordinated efforts of the various security and safety agencies involved in the operation.
According to him, the security arrangements were carefully planned and executed through effective inter-agency collaboration, timely sharing of intelligence and information, strategic deployment and strict adherence to operational responsibilities.
CP Oji Ama specifically praised personnel deployed for the exercise for maintaining a high level of vigilance, alertness and professionalism throughout the first lady’s visit.
He noted that the seamless coordination among the participating agencies played a significant role in ensuring the safety of the dignitary, other participants and members of the public.
The commissioner also expressed appreciation to the Anambra State Government, residents, community leaders and other stakeholders for their cooperation and orderly conduct, which he said contributed significantly to the peaceful outcome of the visit.
CP Oji Ama assured Ndi Anambra that the Command would continue to strengthen inter-agency collaboration, intelligence-led policing and strategic security deployment to protect lives and property and ensure the safety of major public engagements across the state.
