The Anambra State Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Agency has congratulated the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on the occasion of his 66th birthday, commending his commitment to leveraging technology to transform governance and improve public service delivery.
In a goodwill message, the agency described Governor Soludo as a visionary leader whose administration has placed digital innovation at the centre of governance through the philosophy of “Everything Technology, Technology Everywhere.”
According to the agency, the governor’s vision extends beyond the deployment of digital tools, reflecting a deliberate strategy to promote transparency, efficiency, accountability and stronger engagement between government and Ndi Anambra.
The ICT Agency noted that under Governor Soludo’s leadership, significant progress has been made in the digital transformation of the state’s public service through the standardisation of ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) websites, the adoption of the official .anambrastate.gov.ng government email domain, cybersecurity awareness campaigns, data protection compliance and digital capacity building programmes.
It highlighted the introduction of citizen focused digital platforms, including the SMART Anambra Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM), which enhances communication between citizens and government, as well as SmartGov BETA and NORA, the Artificial Intelligence powered digital assistant designed to improve access to government services.
The agency observed that these initiatives demonstrate the administration’s commitment to using technology to solve real life challenges, improve service delivery and make governance more responsive to the needs of the people.
Reaffirming its support for the governor’s vision, the ICT Agency pledged to continue developing innovative digital solutions that will strengthen public institutions and enhance service delivery across Anambra State.
The agency wished Governor Soludo a joyful 66th birthday and prayed that God would continue to grant him wisdom, strength, good health and grace as he leads Anambra State toward a smarter and more prosperous future.
