ANAMBRA DEPUTY SPEAKER, RT. HON. OKOYE, EGBUTU CELEBRATE OZONKPU OYE AT 70

The Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Pius Okoye, has congratulated the immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA), Chief Victor Oye, Ozonkpu, on his 70th birthday.

In a congratulatory message shared in his official Facebook page, the lawmaker representing Awka South II Constituency described the milestone as a celebration of a life dedicated to leadership, service, and humanity. He praised Chief Oye as an outstanding statesman, accomplished political leader, philanthropist, and proud son of Amawbia whose contributions to the state and party remain indelible.

Rt. Hon. Okoye noted that Chief Oye’s tenure as APGA National Chairman was marked by visionary leadership, electoral successes, institutional growth, and a steadfast commitment to strengthening the party’s democratic ideals. He further commended Ozonkpu’s humility, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to the peace, unity, and development of Anambra State, saying his legacy of selfless service continues to inspire a new generation of political leaders and public servants.

As Ozonkpu Victor Oye marks 70 years, the Deputy Speaker prayed for God’s continued grace, sound health, strength, and many more years of impactful service to Anambra State, Nigeria, and humanity.

In the same vein, the APGA flag bearer for Anambra State House of Assembly, Awka South Constituency II, Hon. Pharm. Onyedikachukwu Boniface Egbutu, also joined well-wishers across Anambra State and beyond to celebrate a distinguished statesman, Ozonkpu Oye. In his felicitations, Hon. Egbutu described Dr. Oye as a true patriot and a pillar of APGA whose visionary leadership, steadfast commitment, and selfless service have left an enduring legacy in the party.

He noted that Dr. Oye’s political wisdom, discipline, and relentless pursuit of unity have strengthened APGA and continue to inspire a new generation of progressive leaders in Anambra and Nigeria.

The lawmaker prayed Almighty God to grant the former APGA National Chairman many more years of sound health, divine protection, renewed strength, and greater accomplishments. “May your wisdom continue to guide, your voice continue to inspire, and your legacy continue to shine brightly for generations to come. Happy Birthday, Sir! May your new age usher in greater grace, peace, joy, and fulfillment,” Hon. Egbutu prayed.
