The Site Engineer of Datum Construction Company at Akpo axis, Aguata LGA, Mr Bako Yohanna has poured encomiums on Anambra State communities for their civility to accommodating construction firms as Governor Chukwuma Soludo turns Anambra State into construction site.
He said this in an interaction with information officers while laying stone base, at Uga-Amesi-Akpo- Ogboji Road, in Aguata LGA, on April 11.
The Engineer said, “I am from Kaduna State. This job has taken me to parts of Nigeria and I can confidently tell you that Soludo is an epitome of governor.
“His style of governance with regard to road construction is unprecedented.
“I have seen road dualization, construction of flyovers, bridges, erosion checks.
These kind of construction work do go with demolition of properties. It has triggered demonstrations, obstruction of work, in many states.
“The story is different in Anambra State where communities, property owners, stomach these losses to pave way for road infrastructure development. Ndi Anambra are indeed civil.”
He pleaded with them not to relent but maximize support to Governor Soludo’s government and style of governance for optimal benefits.
He described Soludo’s emergence as governor as an opportunity to developing Anambra State.
