The Anambra State Ministry of Commerce on Oct. 29 says it will leverage its social media platforms to improve access to business information and strengthen communication with traders, entrepreneurs, manufacturers and other stakeholders.
The initiative is aimed at keeping the business community informed about market developments, government programmes and opportunities for business growth.
The ministry says its platforms will provide practical business tips, market and trade updates, as well as information on initiatives and opportunities for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Other planned content includes updates on the ministry’s programmes, stakeholder engagements and interventions, as well as business spotlights featuring entrepreneurs and enterprises contributing to the state’s economic development.
The ministry said the initiative was intended to make relevant and reliable business information more accessible and promote stronger engagement between the government and the business community.
It has also invited members of the public to suggest business related topics and information they would like to see featured on its platforms.
According to the ministry, the feedback will help shape content that addresses the information needs of traders, entrepreneurs and other business stakeholders.
It urged business owners and members of the public to follow its social media platforms, participate in discussions and share suggestions to make its digital communication more relevant and responsive.
