In a welcome development for Aguata residents , the Mayor of Aguata Local Government Area, Hon. Kingsley Ezeagu, has announced an extension of the registration period for the Aguata skills empowerment initiative, in partnership with Bank Of Industry ( BOI ).
The extension, made on October 16, was part of the ongoing efforts to ensure that more eligible indigenes of Aguata benefited from the initiative, which was aimed at promoting skills acquisition, human capital development, and economic empowerment across the LGA.
The initiative presented valuable opportunity for Aguata indigenes to acquire relevant skills, improve their economic prospects, and explore pathways to self – reliance and sustainable livelihoods.
Welcoming the development, Hon. Ezeagu encouraged individuals who had yet to register to take advantage of the extended registration window and position themselves to benefit from the programme.
He emphasized the importance of embracing opportunities that promote personal development, create economic opportunities, and contribute to the overall growth and prosperity of Aguata.
The Mayor further noted that the initiative reflected the commitment to expanding access to empowerment opportunities and ensuring that more people across Aguata benefited from programmes designed to improve their livelihoods.
