In a renewed commitment to reposition education and improve learning outcomes across Aguata Local Government Area, the leadership and development team of Aguata LGA led by Dr Chibueze Ofobuike has announced major education infrastructural projects at central school Isuofia, and Girls High School Uga.
During an inspection visit to the two schools on Aug. 18, the team assessed the existing facilities and outlines intervention aimed at creating more conducive learning environments for students and pupils.

At central school Isuofia, the team will rebuild the classroom block to provide pupils with a safe, comfortable and conducive environment for learning. The project is expected to significantly improve the quality of the school’s physical learning environment.

At girls High school Uga, the intervention will go beyond the provision of Infrastructure. An examination hall will be constructed for the students, while the school’s science laboratories will also be built and fully equipped to support practical learning in the sciences. The project underscore the administration’s belief that education remains the bedrock of a progressive society and a powerful tool for shaping the future of young people.
Speaking on the initiative, the team reaffirmed it’s commitment to investing in the education of young people across Aguata Local Government Area, nothing that quality infrastructure and access to functional learning facilities are essential to unlocking the potential of next generation. With these interventions, Aguata Local Government Area is taking deliberate steps towards building an education system that gives it’s young people the environment, resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
