The Clerk of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Dr Anthony Ughaenu has extended warm felicitations to staff of the Assembly and civil servants across the state in celebration of this year’s Workers’ Day, commending their dedication and contributions to governance and development.
In a goodwill message marking the May 1st celebration, the Clerk described workers as the backbone of the public service, noting that their professionalism and commitment under challenging conditions continue to drive effective governance in the state.
Dr Ughaenu specifically praised staff of the Anambra State House of Assembly for their discipline, diligence, and unwavering support in ensuring the smooth conduct of legislative activities, emphasizing their critical role in strengthening democratic institutions.
He also acknowledged the resilience and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by civil servants across the state, stating that their efforts remain vital in sustaining government operations and delivering essential services to the people.
While appreciating their contributions, the Clerk urged workers to uphold the values of integrity, efficiency, and service excellence, encouraging them to remain steadfast in their duties toward building a more progressive and prosperous Anambra State.
He further wished all workers a fulfilling and memorable Workers’ Day celebration.
