UDOGACHI COMMANDER HAILS SOLUDO’S ROADS FOR BOOSTING SECURITY IN OKPOKO

The Commander of Operation Udogachi in Ogbaru Constituency I, Okpoko Community, Mr. Victor Okpara, has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the road infrastructure projects in the area, saying they have significantly improved security operations and contributed to the peace currently enjoyed in the community.
Speaking with
our newsmen in Okpoko, Okpara said the newly constructed roads have enhanced the mobility of security operatives, reduced response time to incidents, and made patrol activities more effective.
“The improved road network has made our work easier. Criminal activities have reduced, and security personnel can now access every part of Okpoko quickly,” he added.
Popularly known as Ezinwanne, Okpara recalled that before he became General Commander, the community was troubled by kidnapping and other criminal activities. He credited the efforts of his team and collaboration with security agencies, saying many criminals were arrested and handed over to the Police.
He revealed that he has served as General Commander for 13 years and played key roles in tackling various security challenges in the community, despite losing his twin brother and four of his men in the line of duty.
“Okpoko is now peaceful, with residents moving freely and carrying out their daily activities without fear” Okpara stated.
He also praised the Mayor of Ogbaru Local Government Area, Hon. Sir Kenneth Akwuobi, for his support, noting that Akwuobi recommended him to the state government during the establishment of the Agunechemba Security Outfit, leading to his appointment as Commander for Ogbaru Constituency I.
He further thanked Governor Soludo for providing operational vehicles and logistics support to security agencies
While expressing satisfaction with the current security situation, he appealed to government authorities to address the lingering leadership tussle in the community to prevent any threat to the existing peace.
Okpara applauded community leaders, security stakeholders, local informants, and residents for their cooperation, assuring that his team would continue working to ensure that Okpoko remains peaceful and secure.
