Joy without Bounds as traders, transporters and commuters poured encomiums on Governor Chukwuma Soludo for putting up solution market/park to relieving them from pains of demolition of structures, to accommodate Ekwulobia Flyover, endorse him for second term.

“It was hell on earth as I was dispossessed of my shop when destruction was going on around this flyover.

“I lost the source of my livelihood. Though we were told that something will be done to assist us. I never believed it, hence politicians do fail promises. Behold, Soludo is indeed leadership Solution not usual politicians I used to know.”

Traders, transporters, commuters interacted with information officers, at Solution Park/Market behind Nanka Road, Ekwulobia, in Aguata LGA, on July 17. include Mr Uche Ozochiawa Eze, Mr John Nwele, Chioma Igwe and Mrs Hannah Iro.

They in their respective speeches said, “Solution government is with us indeed. Soludo is talk and do(Ekwu Eme).

“He told us not to worry, something will be done to accommodate us. It was like mere talk but today, we are at better place than we were.

“He is a man with humane heart. What touches the downtrodden touches him despite the fact that he is in exalted position.

“Soludo has led Anambra State well in about 4 years as such deserves another term of 4 years to enable him to perfect all the projects he has initiated. Though most of them are completed already, yet there are need for finishing touches.”

According to them, the Dubai -Taiwan he promised is in sight already. Therefore, joining enemy of progress in the name of politics to removing him from office will take it away from us.

They enjoined Ndi Anambra not to collect anything from anybody in the name of vote buying, emphasizing that Anambra State development is more important than any other thing.

“The dualized Awka, Agulu, Nanka, Ekwulobia to Imo State Road has brought Uga close to Awka, thereby reducing time wastages on the road which in turn adds to our pockets.

“So, collecting money to sell our vote may take us back to the days of going to Awka from Uga in 3 hours instead of 30 minutes.

“The park has accommodated all transport companies, thereby making it easy for commuters to alight from a vehicle and get to another easily to wherever they wish to get to.”

They noted that there are modern convenience facilities that make nonsense of open defecation. Young women do not see staying in the market as punishment anymore as there are modern convenience to taking care of themselves if need be.

“We are happy with the government of Soludo. Our happiness shall be expressed in the polling boot come November 8.”

According to them, Cloth that do not have tear has no need for amendment. We are in good hands with Soludo in Anambra State.

“So, political gladiators, especially those wanting to be governor should wait. He has touched positively every department of governance. All strata of persons has benefited through these programmes, free medicare for pregnant women, delivery and postnatal, construction of new roads, dualization of old ones.

“Erection of flyover, prompt payment of teachers salaries/civil servants, employment of over 8000 teachers, 1000 health workers, engagement of youths through 1 youth 2 skills programme, improved security, are among visible projects that are already in place. What can beat these? Nothing, they added.

However, traders/transporters pleaded with government to direct security operatives within the park and market to allow motorcyclists(Okada) to bring in passengers to the park/market for improved economic viability.
