Tansi International College (TICA), Awka, has recorded significant infrastructural improvements ahead of the commencement of the new academic session, following an inspection of completed and ongoing projects by the Proprietor of the College, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor.
Most Rev. Ezeokafor paid a working visit to the College on Sept. 11 to assess the developments and infrastructural projects undertaken during the past academic session.
During the inspection, the Proprietor expressed satisfaction with the level of transformation across the school environment, particularly initiatives aimed at improving students’ welfare and creating better conditions for teaching and learning. Among the projects inspected were newly constructed modern toilet facilities for students, as well as the rehabilitation of existing ones.
He also inspected extensive landscaping around the hostel area and the repainting of hostel blocks, which have contributed to improving the appearance and overall ambience of the College.
The Proprietor commended the College Management, led by Rev. Fr. Hilary Okwunalu, for its vision, commitment and dedication to transforming the school environment and providing students with a more conducive atmosphere for learning and holistic formation.
The inspection was attended by the PTA Chairman, Mr. Friday Solomon Eneowo; Chairman of Teachers’ Welfare, Mr. Peter Nwokolo; Vice Principals, Rev. Fr. Patrick Nweke and Rev. Fr. Vitus Onyekaba; PTA Treasurer, Mrs. Francisca Obidi, and other members of the College community.
According to the College, the latest infrastructural developments have further enhanced the school environment and positioned TICA to welcome students into a more conducive and improved setting as the new academic session begins.
