ANAMBRA WEST YOUTHS CHARGED ON COLLABORATION, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

‎The Executive Mayor of Anambra West, Edith Nkeiru Ndive, has called on youths across the local government to embrace collaboration, unity, and active participation in governance as critical tools for sustainable development and peace in the area.

‎The mayor made the call on May 14, while receiving a delegation of Anambra West Indigenous Youths at the Local Government Secretariat, Nzam, during a courtesy and congratulatory visit.

‎Addressing the delegation, Hon. Ndive appreciated the youths for their show of solidarity following her elevation from Deputy Mayor to substantive Mayor of Anambra West, assuring them that her administration remains committed to inclusive leadership and people-oriented governance.

‎She emphasized the importance of youth involvement in community development initiatives, noting that meaningful progress can only be achieved through collective responsibility, constructive engagement, and mutual cooperation among stakeholders and the youth.

‎The Mayor further assured the delegation of her administration’s readiness to maintain an open-door policy that would encourage dialogue, innovative ideas, and strategic partnerships aimed at improving the welfare of the Youth as well as communities across Anambra West.

‎Earlier, the Leader of the delegation, Comrade ChuksMicheal Anijah commended the mayor’s leadership qualities and expressed confidence in her ability to deliver purposeful governance and impactful leadership in the local council.

‎He pledged the support and cooperation of the youths toward initiatives that would promote peace, unity, and rapid development in Anambra West and the state at large.
