The women of St. Stephen Zone, Anglican Communion, Enugwu-Ukwu, gathered in fellowship for their August meeting, with a strong charge to trust God and obey His Word.
The guest speaker, Nneora Chinyere Ofornakara, Mama Enugwu-ukwu Archdeacon, who was accompanied by other clergy wives, encouraged the women to look up to God in every situation.
Taking her Bible reading from Deuteronomy 28, Nneora Ofornakara emphasized the blessings of listening to and obeying God’s instructions. She urged the women to align their homes and lives with the Word of God, so that they might experience His favor, protection, and fruitfulness in this new month.
She noted that God rewards obedience and that when women stand on His Word, their families and the church will be strengthened.
The meeting featured prayers, hymns, and words of encouragement as the women were charged to begin August with faith and dependence on God.
The event ended on a high note with testimony and thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness.
