Chinedu Chukwuemelie
The Solution Innovation District (SID) on August 7 welcomed Ms. Elsie Attafuah, Resident Representative of UNDP Nigeria, and her delegation to its permanent site in Awka.
They were received by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubation and CEO of SID, Miss Chinwe Okoli.
Discussions centered on potential areas of more collaboration between UNDP Nigeria and the Anambra State Government in innovation, entrepreneurship, digital skills development, and youth empowerment.
Miss Okoli reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to building Africa’s premier innovation district, while Ms. Attafuah commended the progress at SID and expressed UNDP’s interest in strengthening and established partnership opportunities.
The visit marked another step toward aligning state innovation goals with global development priorities.
