A major drainage project in Owelleaja, Obosi, Anambra State, is 90 percent complete, courtesy IDC Construction Company. Residents are ecstatic, having suffered years of flooding.
“I’m so happy! We’ll finally be safe from floods and property damage. Kudos to Governor Soludo!” said Mrs. Asomugha Njideka.
“The state government has really come through for us. Business is booming, and people can access our community easily,” added Mrs. Obianuju Ezeugwa.

A local Keke rider, Mr. Anayochukwu, echoed the sentiment: “Now I can take passengers straight into Owelleaja without worrying about potholes and floods. It’s a game-changer!”
The IDC Construction Company’s Foreman, Mr. Edwin Udi, assured completion is imminent: “We’re rushing to beat the rainy season.”
The community lauds Governor Soludo’s efforts, calling the project a major win for Owelleaja.
