‎The member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Udogalaya Aniekwe, has flagged off the construction of a 2.5-kilometre road in Oroma Etiti Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State.

‎Speaking during the event, Hon. Anekwe, represented by his aide, Mr. Basil Okeke, said that the Aniasa road project would play a vital role in boosting agricultural productivity within the community. He noted that the road serves as a strategic link between Anam and neighbouring Delta State, making it crucial for enhancing trade, accessibility, and the movement of farm produce.

‎The lawmaker further reassured constituents of his commitment to inclusive development, urging communities yet to benefit from ongoing projects to remain patient. According to him, several initiatives are currently in the pipeline, awaiting presidential approval and funding.

‎In his remarks, the Anambra West ADC Chairman, Mr. Jude Nwanegbo, commended Hon. Aniekwe for his performance, noting that he has achieved within three years what others could not accomplish in four. He called on constituents to sustain their support for the lawmaker, particularly as he pursues a second term in office.

‎Also speaking, the President General of Oroma Etiti Anam, Chief Hon. Charles Nchezor, described the road project as timely and impactful. He noted that the development would ease transportation challenges, reduce the cost of movement, and improve the overall living conditions of residents.

‎Similarly, the Chairman of Mmevo Ruling Age Grade, Chief Raphael Nwabunwanne Okeke Ezeagbor urged Oroma etiti community and security agencies to ensure the safety of construction workers and equipment throughout the project duration.

‎Speaking on behalf of the construction firm, the Site Manager of Pinnatech Engineering Company, Engr. Emeka, expressed appreciation for the warm reception by the community. He assured residents of the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality work within three months and appealed for continued cooperation and security support.

‎Residents believe the project will significantly enhance connectivity, stimulate economic growth, and improve quality of life in Oroma Etiti and surrounding communities.
