The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra State ICT Agency, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata (CFA), has been honoured with the Industry Transformer Award by Pivot Africa on December 17 in recognition of hy leadership and impact in driving digital transformation and innovation within the public sector.
While presenting the award, Barr. Ifedi Eze, Managing Director of the Founder Institute, Lagos Chapter, noted that the recognition reflects the significant transformation currently being witnessed in Anambra State. He highlighted the strategic deployment of technology to strengthen digital governance and institutional reforms, in line with the mandate of Mr Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
According to him, the reforms under CFA’s leadership demonstrate how technology can be effectively leveraged to improve governance outcomes and institutional efficiency.
In addition to the Industry Transformer Award, CFA was also presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for his role as a speaker at the Pivot Conference 2025. The certificate recognises his inspiring leadership and contributions to advancing digital innovation and socio-economic development across Africa.
The recognition further reinforces Anambra State’s growing profile as a leading hub for technology-driven governance and innovation in Nigeria.
