As Governor Chukwuma Soludo has continued to receive local and global accolades on his 66th birthday, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and Supervising Permanent Secretary Ministry of Housing, Mr.Tochukwu Obodogha has joined the bandwagons of well wishers to Felicitate with him.
In a congratulatory message in Awka on July 29, Mr. Obodogha appreciated the governor’s exemplary leadership in the state since he assumed duty as the governor of Anambra State.
According to the permanent secretary, Governor Soludo has made indelible giant strides in the education sector where he institutionalized the free education for pupils in the nursery school category to students in the SS 3 senior secondary school category, and employed 8,115 teachers in the primary and post primary schools cadres.
He listed some other milestones recorded by the governor to include his working policy in the health sector where expectant mothers in the public hospitals receive free antenatal care, free caesarian sessions, and free delivery services, in road construction where appreciable kilometers of roads have been tarred in the three senatorial zones of the state, among others.
In Nnewi Local Government Area where he hails from, Mr. Obodogha commended the governor for tarring the Igwe Kenneth Orizu road, Bank road, Okpuneze road and the dualized Agulu-Nnobi- Nnewi road.
He commended Governor Soludo for appointing him a permanent secretary on the 8th of March 2024.
Mr. Obodogha who was the immediate past permanent secretary, Ministry of Environment, used the forum to felicitate with the governor’s wife Nonye who will celebrate her birthday on July 31.
He appreciated her efforts in using her pet project, Healthy Family Initiative to reach out to the less privileged in the society.
The permanent secretary wished the duo the best in their future endeavors.
