The President General (PG), Omasi Town Union in Ayamelum Local Government Area of Anambra State, Chief Alfred Okafor has pledged their support for Soludo’s re-election.
Chief Okafor made this known during a technical handover of rehabilitated Omasi health centre by Soludo’s Administration through the Ministry of Power and Water Resources, Awka.
Speaking during the handover, the PG, who described Governor Chukwuma Soludo as a man of “worthy credibility” applauded him for his developmental strides to Omasi community ranging from bringing back to life Omasi farm settlement which has remain disparaged for over 30 years after successive government neglects and resuscitation of their water projects.
Speaking further, Chief Okafor commended Governor Soludo for cleaning the face of Anambra State by building a benefiting Government House, which according to him is first of its kind since the creation of Anambra State in 1991. He made Ekwuluobia an urban city, transformed Agulu, Nnewi and other parts of the state.
He, then, pledged to fully reciprocate Governor Soludo’s gesture in Omasi community come November 8 by voting massively to APGA for continuity.
Speaking earlier, the Director of Water Department, Ministry of Power and Water Resources, Mr Tochukwu Nwosu, through the team leader representing Anambra North Senatorial zone on Water Rehabilitation, Mr Okechukwu Onyedibe thanked the Omasi community for the support they gave to the contractor during the time of executing the project and urgde them to take full ownership, manage and sustain the water facility.
Mr Onyedibe hailed the state government for its grassroots developmental strides, emphasizing that every community in Anambra Sate has benefited from Soludo’s numerous developmental initiative which includes good roads, solar driven water supply, solar lights and charged him to continue with his good works.
