The Deputy Chairman, Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council and Chairman Anambra North Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe (Prof.) Benjamin Okeji has passed a vote of confidence on the 489-Membership composition of the State Governorship Election Campaign Council, saying All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) party is unbeatable.
In a press briefing in Awka following the inauguration of the campaign council in Awka, Igwe Okeji gave a thumbs up on the calibre of seasoned politicians and personalities chosen to be members of the council.
The royal father urged the members of the council to remain focused and avoid playing into the hands of some desperate politicians who may want to disrupt the electoral process because of their unpopularity.
He prayed for their wisdom to discharge their duties without any fear or favor.
Igwe Okeji used the forum to appreciate the APGA Party for adopting Governor Chukwuma Soludo as their consensus candidate who has so far justified the mandate given to him through his exemplary leadership.
The royal father affirmed that now the party will soon embark on local government and community tours ahead of the election, the onus lies on each community to appreciate the governor for a job well done and to point out clearly the areas they need more government assistance.
